Payments & Bank Statements

The checkout options include all major credit and debit cards. You can choose who processes your payment, Worldpay or Stripe. Both providers are accreditied checkout providers and use secure-encrypted code for maximum security.

If using WorldPay for your bank statement will show "JT" for your discretion.
Stripe will display "JT Store".

I have had to remove PayPal as they no longer allow me to abbreviate my shop name, so it can cause an issue for some of you.  You can still pay by PayPal if you wish, just let me know. 

Postage & Dispatch

Postage is free for all orders, with upgrades available during the checkout process if you need it quickly. Yay!
All items are usually shipped within 24 hours of ordering on working days.  

The estimated time frames for delivery are:

Free Second Class Delivery - 3-5 Working Days
Upgraded 1st Class - 1-3 Working Days
Discreet deliveries to store or extra large parcels via UPS or DPD - 1-3 Working Days

Please note that these times are the usual delivery times, but items can get delayed on occasion. There are always delays before and after Christmas, and after Bank Holidays, so please order with plenty of time. 

Unfortunately, due to huge problems with customs delays and extra charges, I am currently only posting to the UK, Channel Islands, Australia and New Zealand. This is due to me not being able to charge VAT at the time of purchase for other countries, which is now the law.

THE GOOD NEWS IS... I can however do this through my Etsy store. They will collect the VAT tax when you purchase and pass it to the tax service in your country, so your parcel can clear customs without extra charges. YAY!
If you are in the UK,Channel Islands, Australia or New Zealand, please stay here on my site though rather than zooming off to Etsy though. It's better for us both here, I promise! I am able to offer you more options for cheaper add-ons and postage choices, and as a small business, no extra Etsy fees to pay makes a huge difference.

Discreet UK Collect In Store

Discreet store delivery is a must for many of you, enabling you to keep your purchase private.  The store will tell you when your parcel is ready to collect, so you can pop along at your convenience (with your ID) to collect it. 

I have added two options to my site, UPS and DPD, as stores can differ.
To find your local store options, please visit their store finder maps:

Once you have chosen, simply add the store name and postcode as the shipping address/ put the name of the store in the message box, or send me an email with the details straight after your purchase. I will then send your order to the store for you. They will email you when it's on the way and when it is ready to collect, but if you would like to leave your phone number on the order details with me, they can text you with updates. 

Returns & Exchanges

I fully understand that your breast enhancers and breast forms may not fit you as well as you expected, especially if you're a first time buyer. I try to give as much detail as possible on product listings and in my guides, and I am always here to help, so do use me if you are not sure. I have over 15 years of experience and my help is all part of my service. I am here to help you pick the styles that are most likely to work for you. We can't always get it right, so if you need to return as they were not quite right for you, or you ordered a few styles to try, that is no problem at all :)

I can refund your purchase or exchange your item as many times as you need, in order to acheive the best fit/look for you.

There are a few simple conditions:

  1. The original postage to you is covered by myself, unless you opt for any upgrades, but return postage must be covered by you the customer, unless faulty. I will cover the new postage cost to you if you decide to exchange.
  2. I am only able to refund items that are received back to me, and that arrive back in perfect condition (opened tissue paper packaging is no problem).
  3. Reimbursement of postage cost for faulty items will be refunded within 7 days of receipt of proof of postage purchase, to allow for bank processing times. 
  4. Fashion Tape & Nipple Covers can only be returned if faulty, due to hygiene reasons, unless specifically agreed. 


Postage can be bought easily on Royal Mail's website and your Postie can even collect from you, bringing the postage label if you do not have a printer. It just takes a few clicks to book and you can see Royal Mail's Click & Drop site here for more details. Remember if returning, that Royal Mail have 4 sizes, letter, large letter, small parcel and medium parcel. Often packing breast enhancers flat side-by side enables them to be posted as a large letter, saving you postage costs. The maximum thickness is 2.5cm for this.

Other options you can use for returns are EVRI and Yodel, etc. 

I strongly advise that you obtain full tracking for your parcel, with tracked 48 from Royal Mail being a great cost-effective service and available online. Losses are very rare, but delays are common, so tracking can help solve issues. If your parcel is lost by your chosen courier company, I will be able to help provide an invoice for your claim, but any claim is the your responsibility.

I will also send you my returns for with the details you need for the return and the details I need from you in the parcel to make sure I can process it quickly for you when it arrives. 

Product Packaging

I ensure all orders are well packaged, before being dispatched; you will find packaging information details on each product description. Most single purchase items will fit through your letterbox, but multiple item purchases may not when being packaged together. The packaging is discreet but some parcels can be squishy.  I give packaging options for each product that can help you to avoid this by upgrading to a box etc, and you're more than welcome to discuss your postage options and preferences, before purchasing. Just drop me a message and I'll get straight back to you with advice and any additional charge information in advance, as soon as I possibly can. 

The included return address label on the packaging will display an address only, for complete discretion. 

Jo Thornton is an environmentally friendly company

At present, there aren't many alternatives to silicone, which gives the most realistic feel for breast forms. It's a really tough balance between preserving the environment, and providing natural looking and feeling products that boost confidence. My products do contain silicone gel, plastics and adhesives, which are non-recyclable. Whilst I continuously seek to provide more sustainable products, I can ensure that the products I do supply, are made to last. I want to ensure they have a long life with you, minimising their impact. I ensure my products are of high quality that you will love, so that they can move in with you and stay the duration!

Whilst the use of silicone and plastics is unavoidable, I do make sure that all my packaging and processes are as environmentally-friendly as possible.

  • I use recyclable/biodegradable tissue paper as my standard product packaging for all breast enhancers and breast forms. There is no plastic wrapping for them.
  • For posting to you, my mailing bags are fully recylable at any large supermarket (usually just outside the store in big containers), and many smaller ones (usually a small container just inside the store). I also use mailing bags that have added bio compounds to enable them to fully degrade.
  • My optional upgrade storage boxes are recyclable if you decide you no longer need them. Simply remove the ribbon tab and the magnets and small metal discs that keep them closed. Pop the magnets on your fridge!
  • I use jiffy bags that can be separated with recyclable paper parts. Please use the bubble wrap inside again if you can. I continue to research more options for fully eco jiffy bags. 
  • My mailing boxes options are recyclable cardboard boxing with paper based, non-plastic recyclable packing tape.
  • I recycle everything I can here at Jo Thornton HQ, including all soft plastics. 

Important to note: Some products are packed with plastic padded pillows or packing nuggets,
which I am reusing from my suppliers parcels

  • Some nuggets will be eco nuggets that are compostable (they are easy to squeeze and disolve in water). You can reuse them, or compost them.
  • Some will be plastic based (they feel more plasticy when you squeeze them and do not dissolve). I am not a fan of these, and I do hope other companies stop using them soon. Please try and reuse these again, so they have as long a life as possible. 
  • The air filled plastic pillows can be reused, or popped and recycled with the any other soft plastics like my mailing bags. These can be recycled at large supermarkets and some smaller ones. 

Privacy Policy

Jo Thornton is committed to ensuring your privacy is protected at all stages. Your payment details are never seen by me and are processed only by the secure payment companies. Your name, address and e-mail address are forwarded to me for product processing and are stored on my website provider's secure server.  I have a full data policy and when I download my sales information I remove all of your personal information immediately. I will never sell your details to a 3rd party (I know just how irritating that is!) and on your statement any payment will come up as JT for total discretion. You can read more here.
