Shipping Questions
Eeek! I need my item urgently, how quickly do you ship and deliver?
All items are usually shipped within 24 hours of ordering on working days and my quickest delivery option is First Class. I can however often do Tracked 24 for a small additional charge, which is more likely to arrive the next day and does not need a signature. Needing a signature can be a big hindrance if it will go through your letterbox or be left in a safe place I find, so Tracked 24 can work much better than the very expensive Special Delivery service. Just get in touch before your order, letting me know what you would like to order, with any add-ons, and I can get it priced for you.
2. HELP - Where is my order?
If your order hasn't arrived after the time frame for your delivery option (given during the checkout and on my Postage Info page, feel free to get in touch so I can double-check your address details and we can make a plan.
If your parcel is a bigger breast enhancer or breast form that will not fit through your letterbox, it may also be worth checking with family members that they haven't seen a red "we tried to deliver" card/checking in places your postie may have left it for you/checking with your sorting office. For Royal Mail shipping, they allow themselves 15 working days after shipping for delivery, which does happen on occasion.
If you ordered UPS delivery and haven't heard anything after a couple of days, please do get in touch.
Product Questions
1. Do I need to take the cover off the enhancers/breast forms?
We all love unwrapping things but please don't try it with these! The cover forms the shape, and is then filled with the silicone inside, so both are needed. The cover must stay on and they must be protected from damage (squashing and accidental piercing) by keeping them safe in a drawer for example. Inside the silicone is really sticky so you really don't want to take the cover off, I promise!
2. I'm allergic to latex, so can I use breast enhancers?
Yes you can, hurrah! The outer cover is made from a different substance, called PTE (a plastic) that does not contain latex. That said you should of course use with caution and stop using if you feel you are having a reaction.
3. How do I get the tape off a breast enhancer or other firm surface?

4. How do I clean and freshen up my breast enhancers or breast forms?
You can wash them in lukewarm water and a mild soap, rinsing well and pat them dry. For extra freshness you can use a mild spray disinfectant such as Dettol. Give them a light spray, leave for a few minutes and rinse well, and then gently dry them off.
5. Do I need a bra for the breast enhancers and breast forms?
Yes, you do. The breast enhancers need the bra to hold them in the right place, and to push against to give a boosting effect. My smaller breast forms can be held with my boobylicious tape so you can go bra-less, but you may struggle with weights beyond 600g for longer periods of time. For this they could be held with medical grade adhesive. I do not stock this, but it is available on the internet and could substitute for a bra depending on the manufacturers instructions.
6. Can I exchange or refund?

7. Are the breast forms suitable for mastectomy use?
Yes they are, and the breast enhancers are excellent for quadrantectomy and lumpectomy use. To work out the style that will be best for you, please do get in touch so we can talk through your best options. I am very experienced and happy to help, whatever surgery you may have faced. I know it can be very hard to come to terms with, but I am here to help and will as much as I can.
Payment Questions
1. How will it show up on my bank statement?
I know this is important to many of you. If using Create Payments, powered by Worldpay your bank statement will simply show JT. If you use Paypal to process the credit/debit card transaction we will show up simply as SS LTD as Silicone Sally LTD is my registered company name. If clicked to expand on it will still only say "SS LTD".
2. Do you have a shop I can visit?
Unfortunately not as I am an internet only company and my insurance does not cover visits. I can occasionally offer collection of large full breast forms, but this is by prior arrangement only. Please use the contact form to get in touch to see what we can arrange.
3. Can I send a cheque or postal order?
Yes no problem at all, just get in contact for details. Please note that items paid for with a cheque will be shipped once it clears, where as products paid for with postal orders can be shipped as soon as I receive it, as it is cleared funds.
4. I'm struggling with the checkout, can you help?
The most common issues at the checkout are not selecting a payment method, ticking the T&C's box and then "continue", or just not selecting the T&C's box.
It can also be if you select Worldpay to checkout. They are very strict and your name, address and postcode must match your statement exactly. If you struggle, feel free to use PayPal or Stripe, as they do accept cards and you do not need to sign up for an account.
